Hmmmm.

I always wonder if Sweetney could be more of that low post scorer. He never gets any minutes, but that last spin move was very quick. He's not the slow poke that he appears to be.

The disrespect being shown for Ben Gordon's abilities right now is astonishing.

Who is the Wizards' coach again? This is probably the worst gameplan I've ever seen by any team, anywhere.

He can, I've been saying this for awhile. His conditioning sucks, but he's probably the best low post guy on the team. He'd be great in 5-10 minute stretches

If Sweets ever got in shape, he would be a real good low post threat. He has some real great low-post moves. He plays hoops with Ewing, Mourning, and Mutombo in the offseason from what I've heard. It would be nice if he could run some sprints and go on a diet as well.

Either way though, he's earning more minutes right now and that'll take some minutes off of Brown's old legs and some minutes off of Wallace's legs as well.

That spin move was sweet. He was also in great position on another play that got him an easy dunk.

Maybe Skiles can work him into better shape slowly. Then bring him off the bench when the rest of the team starts settling for the jumper too much.

Now that the Bulls have gotten their rotations in order and the schedule has gotten a little easier, things are looking up.

I can't believe it.

I believe the weight he holds has to do with a condition he has and is under very little control from himself.

You can't honestly expect a legitimate "fat guy" to make the NBA do you?

Two words: Oliver Miller.

i agree with what you said about Gordon, the Wizards head coach is Eddie Jordan i think..... and that was a real bad game plan.. but i think it was more that the bulls defense played great!

Four in a row!

08's gloating because he said the Bulls would play better once they got off the road trip. And he was right--though I don't think anyone thought they wouldn't play better against the likes of the Knicks, Hornets, and Wizards than the Mavs and Spurs.

I maintain these wins don't erase the disappointment of not being able to perform better on the annual "circus trip" when it was most certainly expected. We could be among the East's leaders right now with just a couple extra wins out there.

When they're 3-11, we'll touch base. This is an amazingly bad basketball team right now. It's not just the west coast road trip.

1908 wasn't the only one who said it.

Were they not amazingly bad? They came close to 3-11, ringing it up to 3-9.

We'll see if it was just the road trip. They'll need to beat quality opponents to improve on the one-and-done of the past couple years. I hope they can, but they didn't inspire much hope by going 0-fer against those quality road opponents on the trip.

You've missed my point. You made it sound like you expected them to start playing better the past week when your previous comments didn't suggest that at all. Just struck by the backpedaling.

I think using the first month as a measuring stick for this team is a mistake. I've stated my reasons why over and over again, and see little value repeating them at this point.

I'm looking forward to watching this team continue to improve. The current four-game win streak with the next seven games at home bodes well, and I expect this team to finish strong once again.

Agreed. We've been round and round so there's little point in repeating it.

I will only say that I'm perfectly willing to be proven wrong and "backpedal." Any ego I possess is overriden by a desire to see my teams perform well.

Poor close to the half, but they're dominating the Celtics.

I take that back. Nice shot, Duhon!

Wednesday's game is on ESPN, by the way.

Hahaha. You know it's going well when Wallace hits a fadeaway, turnaround jumper as the shotclock expires.

This team looks pretty fluid now that they have some semblance of a rotation going. This offense looks completely different then it did 5-7 games ago. I guess it goes to show you not to freak out after 12 games.

This sure is a fun team to watch right now.

Slightly off topic, but I hate how tame NBA crowds are. Much more so than the NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, etc...

I've been to plenty of MLB and NBA games, and MLB crowds are typically much tamer than NBA crowds.
