The ESPNC games were on tape delay with scores spoiled quite often during the game itself.

 

Of course, now that Comcast moved ESPNC from standard cable to deluxe, it's not much of an issue for me...

EDIT: Answered my own question. Unless the US finds itself in 3rd place they'll play in the 6:00 semi on the 21st if they make it that far.

US Soccer is so incredibly inept when it comes to merchandising. US fans wear red at games. But for some reason they make all of the US jerseys in blue and white, which none of the US fans wear. They also make all of the officially licensed shirts in mostly blue and white...there are about 3 total shirts available in red, and none of them are jerseys. Also, the jersey t-shirt numbers that are made available are always Donovan, Beasley and Adu, even though nobody that's a fan wants any of those.

 

This summer I'm gonna end up buying a random red t-shirt with an American flag on it and wearing it to the Gold Cup games because all of the official ones suck ass. And it's not like I'm not a huge fan of US Soccer.

I agree 100%. US Soccer isn't good at much of anything, and the way they market their players and merchandise doesn't do them any favors as far as building a fanbase or generating revenue. I wouldn't wear a Donovan or Beasley jersey if you paid me, and Adu might not even play for the USMNT. If you want a Dempsey or Gooch jersey, good luck.

 

I think the constant changing of kits is a little annoying myself. The major teams on the worlds stage don't screw around with their jerseys every 2 years. England, Brazil, Germany, Argentina, France...they pretty much keep their kits the same. I don't see why Nike and the US program feel the need to come out with butt ugly kits every chance they get.
