Go CUBS !!

I was just thinking, "why does it seem like the Cubs win on Mondays?"

Lo and behold, Fred swoops in and shows that they are actually 7-3. Weird. Since they always win on Mondays when I'm at work for a night game, I'll give it to this bunch of mugs. Cubs, 6-3.

The Good News is that the Astros never score any runs for Clemens. The Bad News is that the Cubs don't score much for Marmol. After the run explosion Sunday, it will be Final Score 1-0!

The Cubs have some kind of strange ability to beat Clemens (I can remember specific instances in each of the last two seasons where we surprisingly beat him) so I will play that card again. Cubs win.

Wood v Clemens on Fox 2003. Choi's downfall (or perhaps fall down) :(

I remember roughing him up a couple times last year if I'm not mistaken. Meh, roughing up is certainly not the right word. I believe he was 1-1 against us last year and we were 2-1 in his starts against us after doing a bit of research (ESPN is rly rly slow).

The Jeff Gordon game was a Clemens start. Lidge blew it in the 8th inning.

Good times, good times...

IIRC, we gave Clemens his first loss in 2004 after he started the year 8ish-0 and delayed his 300th victory as well.

this has been the cubs as of the last 5 years

we get owned routinely by guys like wes obermueller, but when living legends roll into town, we become all worldly.

It's been a general rule of the Cubs in the past to play to the level of your competition. I remember just a few years ago when we were actually contenders, our toughest games were always againstly the horrible Brewers. We also have and always will lose against soft-tossing lefties.

CUBS are on a pace to win 60 games this year..... compared to 79 last year

I love being a fan of a team heading in the right direction.

I remember the "good" Cubs routinely getting rocked by the Rockies, too. Especially at Wrigley.

Awww...I remember the series in which the Rockies scored in I believe 10 straight innings against the Cubs. Good times....
