Whoever said that Lee still belongs in AAA is right. There were several pitches tonight that he just could not catch up to, that he would normally jack out of the yard.

I'm guessing it'll be late July by the time he's back to normal.

The Cubs are basically Triple A.

Seriously, can we just forfeit the rest of the season?

Well you can't blame Baker for doing his part by putting out his "forfeit" Lineups everday!

My niece who is six and spending the night with us just came in and said, " Did the Cubs lose or lost tonight?" My wife following her in said, "Knowing them... both"

Truth from the mouth of a babe and a babe.

I feel bad for Dempster. He's such a great guy too. You know he's gonna be taking this badly....

I hope he doesn't get the LaTroy treatment.

Obviously when you're only pitching once every 17 games as a closer, it's gonna be hard to get in a groove. Anyone that thinks this is an indication of Dempsters ability, needs to think a little more broadly.

So let me see, it's Dusty's fault that our closer (who is paid to come in and CLOSE games) gives up a single and a walk before he fails to even field a sac bunt. If I didn't know any better, I'd think Dempster was blowing these games on purpose. That's how bad he has gotten.

Maybe he wants to be traded? Hey if they are going to be bad, I hope they are fun-bad. Tonight was pretty close to that.

Just got back from the game. Watched the game with Mark_R, sethuel1, vance, Serena, and Fred. Almost got into a fight with a Cubs fan after the game that was pissed that we were mocking Neifi and booing bad plays. Normally don't do that, but this guy said something to the effect of 'you have to cheer for Dusty because he's the manager'. He then told me I should be wearing a White Sox jersey or something. Good times.

Sounds very robotic. Must be a Tribume employee.

Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha. That was good for a laugh. Was this guy who said this mildly intoxicated?

And I got looks from several directions when I booed Neifi at the lone game I went to this season.

Yes he was really drunk.

I don't think they understand that it pains me to cheer against them. I hate every moment of it, and truthfully we are both working towards the same goal. The only difference is, he thinks things will be better by keeping the status quo, which is awfully awfully wrong.

"You never put a time frame on things," he [Hendry] said. "My intention has been proven all along which is to give him the respect he deserves after a lot of years of quality work, and I'm hopeful that we're going to get better and it's not an issue in the second half."

Go Cobs!

I'm half-convinced that Hendry is saying this all tongue-in-cheek.

I'm half-convinced Hendry has a terrible meth addiction, and the only reason it's half is because he's still fat.

I actually cheered when the brewers tied it up and took the lead. I want it to get so bad, Dusty is gone.

I just laughed because I knew the comeback was too good to be true.

I agree that DLee should be in AAA right now. There's no reason for him to still be on the DL but he shouldn't be at the major league level yet. He's not ready.

My guess, would be Jim Hendry in disguise.

Was he fat and squirly with jelly donut stains all over his shirt? That would be a clue.

Our TV announcers like to talk about all the Brewers' come-from-behind wins. Most comebacks are too good to be true against us. Most of us discount that because it's kind of a BS stat, but this team is hard to put away, especially when the bats are hot.

There's nothing for heating up the bats like a stint against the Cubs' pitching, which is the only staff more volatile than our own (but only arguably).

i didn't really see the fight. I saw a big guy throwing downwards, so I imagine he was pummeling whoever he was fighting.

i was laughing the whole time. being my first trip to wrigley, I told my dad to take a picture of the scoreboard before we blew it in the 9th.

ahahahahahhha.

dempster looked horrible. zambrano was great. just electric stuff. his home run made the crowd cheer as loud as they did when ARam or when Lee homered the next night.

it sucked to see ronny miss that ball. i hate to see him make mistakes. i don't want one mistake to ruin his psyche or whatever.
