Can't wait to hear Ozzie's response to that. :lol:

 

Larussa has more excuses than Dusty does. No way he could man up to the fact that they got whipped this past week by the White Sox. Had to chalk up the embarrassment to something.

It may just be my anti-Sox bias kicking in here, but the stats presented in the article sure do seem to give this more credibility than Buehrle's constant accusations.

 

The numbers are skewed because Reyes was absolutely dominant yesterday. Aside from that it's just a couple of relief innings since they changed signs.

June 23, 2006 10:39 pm -- Lefthander Mark Mulder will be shelved at least through the All-Star break and probably longer after an MRI on Friday found that he has been pitching with a shoulder impingement, inflammation of the rotator cuff and slight fraying of the labrum.

 

Placed on the disabled list Thursday, Mulder returned to St. Louis on Friday morning and was examined by team medical supervisor Dr. George Paletta.
