We still suck.

Yeah..... but we've put double digit hits in 5 consecutive games for the first time since 08-15 July 2005. (right after they left Atlanta last year.)

Go CUBS !!

If Maddux has nasty stuff I officially label it "kicked the gatoraide bucket".

"I sure hope Maddux kicks the gatoraide bucket today". .

And, amazingly, we are 1-4 in those games.

I hate being a Cubs fan.

Winning is cool, but rehiring the current staff is totally uncool. The Cubs must lose every series for the rest of the year.

Especially since it'll prove that Tony Womack is NOT the offensive spark this team needed.

Rooting against the Cubs in MAY? Wow.

Sure, if you believe the rumors that all it takes is a mini winning streak to get Dusty and his band of idiot coaches extended, then its plausible and reasonable to root against them.

Sounds like someone's not a real fan....

Be reasonable.

(and yes, I am being sarcastic)

There was a camera guy at Oprah whose last name was Claussen. We, of course, called him The Pickle. Most of the Oprah camera guys also do Cubs and/or Sox games. They work long hours but make big time bucks

Cubs win 5-3. Adam Dunn goes yard thrice, but all are solo shots. Fast Freddie Bynum is my pick to click.

And Dunn will strike out in his other at bat.
