So, does anything change after today?

Nope.

No kidding. So far, Hendry's answer to this offensive offense has been to call up a no htting OFer, then exchange him for a light hitting 2B (the 4th on the roster) and then send that guy down for a career light-htting 2B he just pulled off the scrap heap.

Hendry clearly gave up on this team the moment Lee broke his wrist. That has to be the explanation, but the only other possible explanations would be inability to SEE what is wrong ir inability to do anything about it...either of which are inexcusable from a GM.

It gets better, folks.

Buck and McCarver are calling the game tomorrow.

And even better for me, as I don't think I'll be watching it.

Why?

This TBA guy sounds pretty good

If it wasn't so painful, it was be hilarious.

Oh, it's still hilarious. This is really funny. Neifi Perez has to be the worst player ever.

And the funniest. This whole scenario would be booed out of the room if somebody pitched it for a movie. It seems that Cub fans at Wrigley are doing the same to Neifi.

I just finished mowing in time to see the bottom of the 8th. I sat and thought should I stick around or go clean up? I really wish I would have stuck around to watch.

This is too funny.

i really need to go buy a new hat, call me a fair weather fan but i dont think supporting this team is any good for my health

The only thing that keeps me going is thinking about Neifi having to go to his car in the parking lot while the fans throw heavy metal objects at him.

WOW. How can you say Hendry has given up on this team??? You have GM's in baseball saying he is always on the phone. WOW your comment does not make any sense. No teams are willing to make trades in APRIL. WOW you must be... well im not going to say it because im in shock

yeah obviously someone didn't see that the Mets and D'Backs just made a trade 2 days ago. If Hendry was working hard on the phones, he'd have a trade by now...guranteed.

you really think hendry is doing something? when are some of you people going to give up hope of anyone getting fired or DFA'd? it's very unrealistic to think something going to happen. have you not heard andy MacPhail or hendry recently?

my point was in reference that there are trades that are being made in May, not for getting The Duke.

I think it's blatantly obvious that hendry has been asleep for the last several weeks. Or that he's an idiot. One or the other.

So the answer, then, is that he's unable to do anything about having the worst offense in the NL. You're not helping his case.
