On people badmouthing Dempster:

 

Stop. You realize that Demspter has only pitched in 2.2 innings in the past 7 days? I don't care what closer you have...nobody could be effective being used so lightly. NOBODY. And in the last 26 games, I seriously doubt he got consistant time on the mound. So, I would stop the comparasion with ALF/Hawks etc, because they SUCKED everyday...Dempster has sucked every 4 or 5 days. But Dempster is still bettre if he gets consistant work, and everybody here KNOWS THAT.

That 6+ innings obviously helped win the game.

 

Seriously though, I like Z but right now this team is soooooo bad if we could make a deal to improve it I don't care who is involved. He'd be one of the last ones I'd want to see go, but I don't think anyone is untouchable.

Zambrano is the staff ace. Why would you trade your best pitcher when this is a guy to build around. Would the Twins trade Santana? I dont think so

It needs to be a controlled explosion... the core of these team is good that's locked up for a while, it's just the supporting players suck and terrible management.
