mlbtv subscription now cancelled....I'd cancel nsbb premium as well if it weren't for the social and rants forums.

Everyone....please...please...please do not spend another dime supporting the Chicago Cubs...please. A team with a top NL payroll cannot perform like this and have their fans still fill the seats. I don't support booing. I do support a boycott until drastic changes are made.

I think it's blatantly obvious that hendry has been asleep for the last several weeks. Or that he's an idiot. One or the other.

Couldn't it be both?

Rumor has it that Dusty was so upset in the post-game press conference that the Cubs PR people had to cut it short.

as in Rage or crying

Although I wish it was crying, I believe it was rage... still waiting for details.

This season is just a test. Only the TRUE Cub fans who stick with the team through this little rough patch will be allowed to enjoy the GREATEST COMEBACK IN HISTORY!!!!!

over the last 30 games or so we've seen futility the likes of which I can't remember...(although I've only been a fan for 30 years)...We have had the same problem with hitting/obp for at least 4 years now, and the guy who "lost his job" over it is in the same uniform sitting on the same bench, but now he's just a "coach" as opposed to the "hitting coach" I could care less how much players "love playing for Dusty" well HELL YEAH they do...Rusch, Bynum, Blanco, Perez and Womack couldn't play for anyone else...of course they love playing for Dusty...I agree with whoever typed it above...I'm done spending money on them...no more hats/shirts/tickets/subscriptions nothing until some changes are made...they may not give a damn but that doesn't mean I don't.

screw that....I will always be a Cubs fan, but the front office has less motivation for change as long as seats are being filled, no?

This has to be one of the worst Cubs team in history, and one of the most disappointing teams ever. Figuring they have one of the highest payrolls in baseball, one of the highest paid managers in baseball, and because of 2003 success. This team needs to be blown up starting with Mac"Fail"

Strange you said blown up...I envison the replay of the B-word ball being blown up outside Harry's....That about sums up what needs to be done with this team...I'm becoming more and more convinced that like a going out of business sale...Everything MUST GO...at this point, no one is untouchable, but we shouldn't make anymoves until Johnny B(stands for "bad manager") Baker is gone.

The word that quickly comes to mind to summarize this team is pathetic. They've spent lots of money and look good on paper, but have bought into all the "bad luck" excuses. This has to be the most pathetic month of baseball I've seen from a Cub team.

Astros also only had like 88 wins at the end of the year right? 88 wins won't win the wild card or even come close this year anyway.
