Trade for Conine and we will have this combined production in Right (both will drop a little, but theirs a good chance we could get a .800 OPS out of RF.)

Bynum for Conine plz.

You would have to rely on the manager to properly platoon those guys.

no reason for Aramis to be 6th.

i think ramirez actually asked dusty to lower him in the lineup, and if he's more comfortable there(and hits another 2 hr's in one game) then i'm okay with it.

I'd try him 3rd right now. Sixth is too low for our best hitter (even if he's not hitting like it right now) to be.

Suuuure he asked to be moved down. Where have I heard that before?

Seriously, though, Mizzou is right. He's our best hitter, even if he's struggled up to this point. He needs to bat as often as possible.

Lineups

Cubs
Pierre, CF L
Cedeno, SS R
Walker, 2B L
Barrett, C R
Jones, RF L
Ramirez, 3B R
Mabry, 1B L
Murton, LF R
Marshall, P L

It's obvious how Dusty configured his lineup. He had to alternate lefties and righties because he probably thinks it's the key to winning games.

I may be missing something but I actually like this lineup tonight.

I don't really mind the lineup either. I was just trying to use Dusty-logic.

Oy vey, at least Walker showed some patience. C'mon guys, he threw 79 pitches in 3.2 innings last time. Make him work for it.
