"posednik's throwing maddux off his rhythm"

looks like it brenly

Maddux was crap in the first and Pods wasn't on base.

bases full now..

brenly = right

How? Maddux has sucked like this in the past, and he sucked like this in the first. I don't see how Pods makes a difference.

lol. don't give an inch ever....

Simmer down, people.

4 runs will not win this game today.

Good thing for the Sox they have five then.

On a completely unrelated topic, I hate this ump, he is HORRIBLE.

Do you really think we have a chance to score more than 4 runs today with our lineup?

no idea what Ronny was thinking there. Cost us another run.

He couldn't grip the ball.

i just rewinded it on my DVR...he had the ball out of his glove and he thought about throwing home, but obviously didn't. If he makes that throw, Thome is gunned out at the plate.

not like it matters anyway. This game was done when Konerko got that RBI double.

Shut up Crede, you pulled.

He's probably arguing that NeifSuck pushed him off the base, which he did.

His entire body slid past the base, there was a good chance of him coming off even if Neifi wasn't waiting for the tag.

If anyone on the Cubs had an active brain cell they would note that Maddux, one of the greatest control ptichers of all time, has walked 3 men in 3 IP, and figure out it might be a good idea to take some pitches.

5 runs will not be enough to win the game today. Don't worry about it yet, Cubs fans.

GO CUBS!

Please explain why you think that the Cobs will score 5 runs against a pretty good pitcher, especially since they cant hit lefties if their lives depended on it.

Yeah, I think it was more of him just not expected to have a shot at home since he was playing back. And since there was still nobody out at that point, he was looking for the sure out off the bat.

Team speed. With guys like Pierre and Hairston at the top of the order, we can score runs faster than you can blink an eye.
