he had retired 13 in a row, i don't have an issue with it. maybe a ca thing

 

I think everybody but CubfanInCA is in agreement that Z shouldn't have come out to pitch the eighth.

Gammons just implied Dusty may not want to stay in Chicago and reiterated the idea that he may have his eye on Seattle.

 

nah, i bet it is the DBacks still. No matter how much they win this year.

If the Cubs fire Dusty, he is going to be portrayed as the victim (in the Chicago media and elsewhere). Sad but true.

The fans can be really cruel... I can only imagine what they're saying to Jones. Anyhow, my next game in the bleachers, I'll sit in LF.

 

Yeah I agree. If they're throwing stuff at him, they need to be booted. I'm not gonna jump and blame Jacque on this one.

Mets 4-3 in the Louis with a rain delay in the 7th

 

Brewers batting in bottom of ninth 2-2.
