yeah, everyone knows we suck. However, the Nats are close to our level of suckitude, so it should be an all-out suckfest tomorrow night :lol: Seriously though, I think we'll win. Sending Big Z to the mound and this team needed an off day to regroup. Hopefully tomorrow can be the first win of many. On to the pitching matchup:

Livan has given up 11 homers on the year already..needless to say, he's been very homer happy so far. Z has had 2 good outings in a row after a rough outing against Milwaukee. Let's hope he can continue that stretch with a win tomorrow night against the Nats.

I'm gonna be serious and say that if a sweep by the Nats over our Cubs has any bearing on Dusty + Co.'s firing....then I want us to lose.

 

Unfortunately it looks like these guyz's jobs are fairly secure. Might as well win.

Fearless prediction #3: Neifi is in the lineup and continues his suckitude along with Slapweaksauce Pierre.

Mabry owns Livan....so he definitely is starting. .571 lifetime against Livan.

 

Neifi has hit .267, so its a good bet he will be playing as well.

 

Blanco/Barrett have also done well against him, hitting .300/.400.

 

Walker .300 and Zman 1 for 1 also.

 

Aram has even hit .316 lifetime vs him.

 

This might be a slumpbuster, as the Cub roster is .289 vs Livan lifetime.
