Nice, thanks for getting it together again Bukie.

That 4th #1 seed race is gonna be interesting. Looks like Gonzaga and Ohio St. are the frontrunners right now, but depending on conference tourneys and the rest of the regular season: Texas, Pitt, and Memphis could all stand a chance. Longshots include Illinois, Tennesee, UCLA, and (even though I thought there was no way a few days ago) North Carolina.

No way UCLA can be a longshot at the 1 seed. If they beat Stanford and win the Pac-10 tourney, I think that gets them the 2. In fact, I don't think any of your longshots really have a chance.

I think that if NC wins out and beats Duke twice they could possibly get a 1 seed depending on what happened in the other conference tournaments. I dont think that will happen though.

That's why they're longshots. If the previous 5 all go down in their conference tourneys.(Memphis is the only one I can't fathom losing their conference tourney.

If any of the bottom 4 then win out, I think they'd jump the other 5. Not likely at all, but there's a nonzero chance.

Sorry 'Cuse, I'm just stunned about the outcome. DePaul shot 16-28 from 3pt range, and I'm almost positive shot over 70% in the second half.

The better team won and this just goes to show how bad defensively Syracuse is this year. I think Boeheim and his staff have done their worst coaching in a long time this year.

Doug Gottlieb has a serious man-crush on Squeaky Johnson.

UAB up 7, with 20 secs left.

Mr. I got kicked out of school and criticize others for doing something a lot worse? It's like listening to Bill Walton complain about players that don't play through their injuries.

wow, depaul is putting the beat down on the Orange...

Speaking of which, Flames, I was wrong about DePaul being eliminated from Big East tourney contention. They can get in if they beat ND on Saturday (please don't) and Providence loses to Marquette on Saturday (likely).

So they'd get in as the final seed and get humilated by UConn or Villanova. Great!

Maybe the Syr game will give them some confidence. Of course those teams play defense so we'll see.

'Cuse is still eligible ofor the Big E tourney, right? If so, do they need a strong showing to make the dance, or are they safe?

Blast from the past: Illinois Arizona Elite Eight game is on ESPN Classic right now. That's still one of the best and my personal favorite college basketball game of all time. Just an unbelievable comeback. Unfortunately, I don't have ESPN Classic.

You can buy it from illinitorrent for like 4 bucks. It is well worth it.

If we lose to Villanova and go one and out in the BE we're done for. This is one of the worst basketball teams on the Hill that I can remember.

19 wins in the Big East oughta be enough, they just better not get blown out again the rest of the year.

Villanova is a bad matchup for this team. Any team with any team speed will kill Syracuse this year...no athletes at all and it is showing big time on the defensive end. Our strength of schedule is like 9 so that ought to help but you have to win games too.

#5 Bradley beats #4 Creighton in the MVC tourney, moving to the semi's and moves closer to making the NCAA.

that loss probably puts Creighton right on the bubble now. A win against Wichita St. for Bradley tomorrow should lock them into the NCAA.

After a controversial foul call helped Stanford defeat USC on Thursday evening:

There was more contact after the game.

Tim Floyd appeared to follow official Deron White off the floor before a security guard intervened. Players, security personnel and Trojan team manager Rob Brooks then engaged in a heated exchange near the team bench that included pushing and shoving.

Floyd bristled when asked how his team would respond to such a big event.

"The big event was the game, was Stanford and a loss in the last 10 seconds of the game," Floyd said. "That was the big event. If you want to make something else a big event, that's your choice. We played a game, we lost a game [and] we're now moving on to Cal Berkeley. That's where it is."

"I just told the officials what I thought," a terse Floyd said afterward, refusing to elaborate.

UCLA plays at Stanford and Washington at Arizona. If either UCLA or Arizona wins, UCLA wins the Pac-10 outright. If UCLA loses and Washington wins, the two schools tie for first place.

Also, USC plays at Cal. Maybe Tim Floyd will get into a fight with the security guards in Berkeley too.

Did anyone see the end of GW-Charlotte?

Completly idiotic by the kid from Charlotte.

Pretty cheap technical, IMO. I didn't see the end after that play, but looking at the replay it didn't really look like a thrown elbow.

Bradley beats the #1 seed Wichita State 60 -52 in the MVC tourney sending them to the championship!

man, this is exciting, I can pratically feel the energy on the campus. We don't get this stuff too often, but this year with soccer doing good and now this...

He earned the technical. He threw the elbow twice at the GW player.

Notre Dame going to beat DePaul and they will be in the Big East tourny...

it's pretty pathetic how every team doesn't get in the tournament. What's so hard about adding a day earlier to have the 13th place team play the 16th place team at the 13th place team's home floor and having the 14th place team play the 15th place team at the 14th place team's home court? Pretty pathetic...the Big East definitely has to look into something like that.
