Wasnt there a huge thread a while back talking about how the White Sox fans only care about what the cubs are doing. This seems like the roles have been reversed because this thread is almost as long as some of the game threads have been lately.

One thread chronicling the Sox collapse since the season is over for the Cubs is a far cry from the continual obsession that Sox fans have with everything involved with the Cubs(team, ballpark, front office, media, etc.).

Difference being that this is only ONE thread, not several, AND, the Cubs are quite done, so what else can we Cub fans hope for?

You can be sure that there are still several threads being started daily at the White Sox board about the Cubbies. I don't even have to look. It's worse than CardsTalk when it comes to threads about the Cubs.

You clearly have yet to visit White Sox Interactive. :D

My DSL was on the fritz earlier - no service at all - but I just stopped by to update the thread title and I see that someone has already beaten me to it. Hmmmm....., anyhoo, I'm glad to see that the Sox are complying with my wishes and choking appropriately. :D

If this choke job continues, it will easily dwarf any other choke job I can think of off-hand...., including the Cardinal choke-job last season.

I feel like we are all watching an accident on the expressway, in slow motion. Don't want to look, but you can't turn away either.

Oh, I want to look. I want to pull up a chair and watch every minute of it, because you know if the roles were reversed, the Sox fans would love it even more. If/when the Sox choke their division lead away, I would pay good money to be in the booth with Hawk.

It would be hilarious if the Sox miss the playoffs altogether.

As close as the WC is, if Cleveland passes the Sox, the Yanks will as well. Of course, I really want the Yanks to stay home in October as well, so I am kind of torn on this one.

Well maybe not so much.

here's hoping for the Sox to choke out all together, and the Yankees to get bounced in 3 games in the first round :D

Or the all more improbable Athletics leapfrogging both as both collapse starting...NOW

I was cracking up after I checked out WSI the other day. Here the White Sox are playing for their play-off lives and what are the two lead stories on the front page?

Cubune cries over Sox Success!

MacPhail and the Big Lie!

LOL!

Go Indians!

Damn Twins!

Whitesox win 2-1.

Twins really gave the Sox the game today. I think Ozzie threatened Nick Punto into making that error in the 8th.

Why no Mon. night baseball on ESPN tonight?

They don't want to compete with MNF.

There are two Monday night games, and the Giants-Saints game is switching over to ESPN at 9.

Looking at those pitching matchups, tonight's game should be the most important of the series for the Indians. Tonight is the game we need. Then hopefully we can steal another game.

I'm listening in on WMVP. Ya know, the Sox TV announcers blow..., hard, but their radio team is pretty good.

I'll post the score at the end, as soon as I can get here.

Agreed. John Rooney is one of the best in the business. Of course, he'll be covering another team next year.

I <3 the Indians announcers.

Anyway, blah, sox score 4 in the bottom of the fifth. Game tied 4-4.

Which ones? The TV guys are pretty blase, and Hamilton goes from decent to irritating depending on my mood. Of course, I can't keep the radio and TV guys straight anymore.
