Why can't you guys just give us credit?

We've been a great team for over a year and half now. This isn't a flukey ride of luck.

What I love, is that regardless, Zambrano just owns you, and treats your Cards like his bitch*s. All of them are his bitch*s.

Ugh. The Cards are lucky.

Beyond a doubt the luckiest team in the NL, they're also good.

How many Nunez', Womack', Rodriguez' and the various bullpen re-treads going to keep coming up Golden? Don't get me wrong the Cards are good and deserve all the credit but, you've got to admit they've had an incredible amount of things go right.

Huh. Funny how the Cubs & Cardinals and Bears & Rams are playing today. Danimal just nearly confused me momentarily when I thought he called the Cardinals the Rams.

Who's your little guy, Outshined?

To be fair, didn't Tony Womack hit a double as a DBack AGAINST the Cardinals to get AZ to the World Series?

I'll give the Cards credit. The luck excuse is pure crap. The Cards are probably the best team in baseball this year and were the second best last year. Last season, I thought they'd lose in the World Series, but I'm more concerned that they'll win it this year.

Oh, I don't like the Cards at all, though. I'd root for the White Sox over them in the World Series.

Not to complain...but was Macias really the best option there?

Wow. When was the last time anyone here said "not to complain" without sarcasm?

Our bench is really getting thinned out. Dusty could have sent Murton up there though.

Wow. That can be taken waaaaaaaaaaaay out of context for hilarious results.

It's Mario! :D

Yes, and he could have K'd. It's like a Russian Roulette game on the bench lately - only everyone is shooting BLANKS.

Murton and Nomar are both better options, but with at least one more PH likely in the game, and the possibility of extras, it's not a terrible decision. However, Macias's "at bat" was an abomination.

The acquisition of Roger Cedeno was vital to us.

Mark Mulder was the dominant ace we expected, and those we gave up in return have since toiled in Oakland.

Einar Diaz and Mike Mahoney have filled in admirably for Yadier Molina, emerging has offensive forces themselves.

We get one of the league's worst offensive players in Tony Womack, he has a career year. You get one of the Brewers' worst pitchers (and his 1-10 record), and he turns into an outstanding starter in place of your injured arms.
