Well, as expected, Zambrano is dealing.

 

Marquis has been surprisingly effective so far, albeit with the help of a little luck.

 

Z dangerously close to walking Nunez - ah good, he flied out.

 

LUCK?? You mean help - from our anemic lineup.

 

GIDP from Lee and Walker with 1 out and runners in 1st and 2nd is lucky...even if Marquis is a sinker baller!

Zambrano indicated he was OK. But since the visit from the trainer he's allowed a double and a walk.

 

Yeah, that strike zone is getting elusive all of a sudden. Nunez gave him a gift with the popup, but didn't he go 3 balls with Pujols and Edmonds?

he only threw 2 pitches to Pujols.

wow grudzielanek hits it to the warning track, but corey with a good running grab to end the inning. unfortunately, big z with 95 pitches through 6 innings. LETS GET SOME RUNS!

His bat gives me fits, but I for one am relieved to see his glove and wheels back at center.
