Caleb: 70%+ completion percentage this year; 2nd place (1st place is Joe Burrow). Another criticism bites the dust. I don't think there's anything left except the nail polish.

If the Bears never trail the rest of the season, I have a good feeling about their chances.

He should have a lot more than 3k subs

He's fantastic.  My favorite NFL analyst by a long shot.

That's great commentary for sure.

Some positive has happened with Rome, finally starting look like a 1st rd receiver.

He seems to really favor the deep in. Seems like 80% of his catches come on that route.

Rome has definitely turned it up the last few weeks. And you can see it in how he celebrates after catches, the man is roaring with deep seated enthusiasm.

I think he's gotten a bit of bad luck in his first few years, with a bad injury, some unlucky and unfortunate drops, and then having a lot of the fanbase turn on him when compared to superstars-in-the-making with Burden and Loveland. But he's still got a ton of talent and I have a lot of hope he can be a seriously good player.

What'll be the PFF mockery this week?  Their golden boy, JJ McCarthy, didn't play, my guess is Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray will graded higher.

Browsing other NFC North team's message boards as one does after a big win and holy horsefeathers Detroit fans are arrogant. Everything from Caleb isn't good to they have 6 or 7 better players than any Bear player not named Simmons, etc. etc.

Why are the Bears chances against the Jags so low? It is in Chicago and I see no reason why the Bears wouldn’t be favorites to beat them.

Frustrating as hell that Ben didnt beat the Lions last year

Sure is, 2-6 against the NFC North although, I believe Ben and Caleb are going to turn that around.

I don't know how much stock to put into anything called ESPN Analytics.  I remember this supposed statistical analysis shop had Dylan Gabriel with a higher QBR than Caleb at one point last year.

Jags lead the NFL in point differential at +85 and are better in almost every metric.

Bears are 3rd in the NFL in point differential behind the Jags and 49ers. Bills are right there as well.

Bears definitely in the conversation for best team in football right now along with those 3 teams, though (and possibly the Vikings who just don't allow points).

Their power ranking also had the Bears at #7 last week and the Broncos at #8. Following a Bears win at Seattle and a Broncos win at home against KC, the Broncos leapfrogged the Bears and are #4, with the Bears at #5. They also had Buffalo #1, SF #2 and the Jaguars #3.
