The good news for Bagent if things don’t work out is that Jed Hoyer will sign him as a relied pitcher.

He’s a great value player because he doesn’t throw hard but can work within the Cubs pitching scheme

Ben must actually like Bagent otherwise he would ride Keenum based on last week.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Who am I to question it..

He's smart enough to know that the NFL equivalent of a 7.00 ERA pitcher throwing a no-hitter isn't likely to repeat

Go bears. You gotta win this game, no horsefeathers ups, take care of business vs an inferior foe while at home. Start the season 3-1. Make it happen.

Bagent has thrown 3 TDs and 6 INTs in his career with a 73 rating. This is not a backup with a lot to show for in his young career. I’m hoping Ben made the right move, but I would have ridden Case’s hot hand until he failed.

Mildly surprised that Trapilo is inactive.  With Braxton down, I thought maybe they'd have him active "in case" but...if he's not ready he's not ready.

Anyone have a stream link? Most of my go-to's are down

EDIT: Nevermind, found one

He was down.... lets go

[minnesotacubsfan]

His leg was down plus he wasn’t moving forward

[Derwood]

Has a WR ever fought for extra yardage and NOT fumbled the ball?

[chibears55]

Awesome drive... TD

[Tryptamine]

Strong start

[We Got The Whole 9]

So Case and Tyson lead opening drive TDs with ruthless efficiency.

[cwood218]

Still time to trade Caleb for the haul. 😀

[We Got The Whole 9]

Not watching, what a kick in the nuts

[We Got The Whole 9]

Starlin gif

[Tryptamine]

Laff took the TD away now they score again and it's under review.

[We Got The Whole 9]

Motherfucker

[Brian707]

He's in

I think

[cwood218]

RE First TD: Perhaps they made the overturn call on a different angle but the replay they showed on TV ... BS

[chibears55]

Seriously.. wtf

[Geographyhater8888]

They suck on the goal line.

[Tryptamine]

They take the TD away again

[Tryptamine]

For all the things Ben Johnson is good at, 3rd/4th and 1 is not one of them. They're absolutely awful in those scenarios.
