Illini just fired their DC after 4 games in his first year, in case you wanted to know how things are going over there.

Granted, it probably has a lot to do with the penalties and 9 man defenses twice in the past 2 weeks against OSU and Duke.

Didn't think he had the talent to run his unique defense effectively.  Also, don't think the players had a firm grasp, lots of wide open receivers vs. OSU.

Washington has been uninspiring at best so far, SC might be able to take them. Penn State hasn't done anything yet, Maiava (who is legitimately good) might be good enough to just carry them that day - but it is their White Out, which should make it a pretty tough spot. IU, OSU, UCLA are all locked in losses.

Yeah, Washington was who I was thinking of in regard to the maybe. But I don't see anyway they go on the road and beat Penn St or Wisconsin. The USC defense is so bad. Both teams should be able to run all over them and all the mistakes in the back seven ... I don't see those getting fixed. But we will know shortly since those are the next three games.

I cannot stand PJ Fleck, he's really horsefeathers obnoxious, nevertheless, I think Minnesota is going to beat Michigan. They're good enough on offense to score enough points vs. the Michigan D and their D should stop the Wolverines on offense.

Might be an oversimplification but when he's got a Heisman Trophy winning/NFL caliber QB, his teams are good. Baker, Kyler, Hurts, Caleb. When he doesn't, they're not that great.
