I like Bagent as a backup QB, but the lack of arm strength on the last drive was jarring.  None of the throws that were caught were good throws.  Hopefully they can adjust with a week of preparation.

His dad was a world champion arm wrestler and Tyson has big arms, but has a wet noodle for a football arm. Weird.

That’s why I’ve never been sold on him.  Great success as an UDFA, definitely an NFL QB, but not someone you feel great about as the backup. 

who knows, maybe Ben has an amazing offense lined up in case of injury and he’ll look good but I don’t see it.

That's possible, and this is the Catch-22 for a backup QB.  Do you want to get a chance to show what you can do and possibly play yourself out of the league, or would you rather have a longer career as a backup hiding behind the starter?

Bagent was looking good right up until that last 3-4 plays. I wish he would’ve ran with Bagent a couple more times.

The snap was a bit high and he got the ball down pretty quickly.

He also had a nice day punting the ball and did a good job on the first FG high snap. 

I get that people don't like using a 4th round pick on a punter, but a lot of the Taylor hate feels unfair.
