Brewers and Phillies both lost, Diamondbacks were obviously an out from losing. Massive blown opportunity to gain ground.

I don’t mind putting Palencia in, with a 4 run lead it’s not an awful time. Obviously started out poorly but gave up the flukiest check swing double and a soft single up the middle. I might have pulled him before that last single but I don’t hate the decision.

No ground lost but very frustrating to not lock this one up and gain ground on everyone. 

Just get the #4 seed and use September to figure out the bullpen. They aren't catching Milwaukee

All I can think about is my kid going to sleep when it was 4-0 in the 8th. First thing he’s going to do in the morning is check the score and start his day off with a gut punch.

This is one of the reasons why I never liked west coast games,  stay up late to watch and then they blow it in the 8th or 9th and lose.
