No, I don't.  You can usually keep the pitch count low, which is very nice.

Busch isnt exactly quick,  and catcher moved up to catch the ball as throw was off, probably was best he didn't go

So for those who thought the Cubs didn’t have a starting pitcher they trust, has opinion changed the last 2 nights? I kind of like what I am seeing from Holmes since he got here, and Gausman was pretty damn good last night.

This isn’t directed at you but generally opinions shouldn’t change start to start. On the whole, they were good pitchers when we got them, they were good pitchers after they had bad starts, and they are good pitchers now.

Holmes was already there, Gausman needs to put together a couple more good ones after last night, but it good to see him bounce back after 2 starts not getting 5 innings.

As I mentioned, Holmes was my #1 target at the trade deadline, and he has been great.  I'm not sure about Gausman yet.  He did pitch well last night, though.

I know that. I am asking because several posts I read after the Cubs lost 2 in a row to the Mariners suggested the Cubs didn’t have any starters they could depend on and because of that, expectations of them in the playoffs was very low. I was happy with Holmes and Guasman before these starts.
