I think Notre Dame should have a * for this win just like Michigan.

As far as I'm concerned the choice to play a game in Lambeau is far more egregious then what the Big 18 did for UM.

That's ridiculous

What do you want me to say? Onto Bears season

You have wonder how may chances Michigan was going to get.  I've no doubts some flag on the defense would have appeared had they not won it on that play.

I feel like the past 2 days people have been trying to bait me into commenting on and defending whatever the hell that was but the fact is I don’t really care what happened, I have no idea if it was a fix or they legitimately believed there was a second left. I honestly just dont want to ever think about that game or anything surrounding it again.

At this point I’m just sick of being dragged into the latest Michigan controversy. I got my basketball title which is what I’ve wanted more than anything since the first time I decided to root for Michigan, so whatever.

Wrong audience for this sentiment, granted, but Lambeau Field is fantastic. What an experience.

I did a tour 4th of July weekend.  What an awesome stadium and area. Its too bad Soldier Field wasn't like it. I even wore my Bears shirt. Got a little horsefeathers for it but it was all in fun.. The 1919 restaurant there had perhaps the best cheese curds i have ever consumed.

Just admit you were there and stormed the field, and we’ll leave you alone for now

I was at my buddy's place for the WMU-UM game and his oldest nephew is a freshman at WMU.  We were just about to text him congrats and to party hard after the game but got hung up by the 1 second double ending.

What a brutal loss.  Those kids were going to have a night they would never forget.

A basketball-first UM fan? Interesting. I remember when ND basketball briefly looked like they might actually do it in 2015 and thinking it would feel a bit weird after years desperately thirsting for an ND football title if hoops snuck in the side door and beat them to it.

Given MBB's performance since, I won't need to worry about that particular scenario anymore.

They probably still did...

Hopefully.  I don't know if his nephew is big into sports, but it would have surely been a big night for everyone on that campus.

Yeah I mean don’t get me wrong I’m a football fan too, almost at the same level. But I’ve always had slightly more affinity for college basketball.  There’s dozens of us

really don't like video review needing to get things absolutely letter perfect, just leave it there to overturn plainly incorrect calls and don't frame-by-frame everything, sucking the thrill out of sports

great catch by Buchanan still

It was a great play by Buchanan, and a much better throw from Underwood after his first one was so bad

agree with your view of replay... give it like a 60 second clock, figure out if there was an obvious error in the call, then move on

the thing about sports is, there aren't really asterisks in it, that's one of its best qualities tbh

"you are what your record says you are" sure yeah it's perfectly fair to gripe that you believe WMU should've won, or that NBC screwed up but it just doesn't really matter, a win is a win

Michigan, for example, has been on the other side of back-breaking blown calls or end-of-game clock controversies before and you'd frankly look insane to insist those losses as wins, they happened the way they did and you deal with it, with or without all the added grumbling for years to come

we'll probably win 7 games this season but it simply can't be argued that WMU wasn't one of them, fair or not in your personal view

I wonder what could have possibly happened that led to going from 'only the Friday night games that are either total mismatches or involve exclusively crappy teams' to this
