The Brewers have been burying the Cardinals while the Cubs get to face the Orioles. The Cubs could go into the break in a position of relative strength.

It's just three starts and he has a lengthy track record of mediocrity but Kremer has been kind of fantastic these first three starts off the IL?

He has, and somehow 5 of the 12 hits he's allowed have been homers.

5 homers in 3 games?  He would fit right in with our starters.   ERA still very respectable in his small sample given that number of homers.

Imagine you’re sitting in the bleachers enjoying a game of baseball and the next thing you know someone is blasting you in the face with a garden hose.

Personally - I think Taylor Ward has the best eye in baseball currently. Dude just will NOT chase anything. Gotta throw to him and hope he doesn’t do damage.

his overall swing percentage is crazy

Yeah that’s lowest in baseball too. Bregman, Suzuki and Busch are all in the top 20 for lowest swing percentage (out of 150 qualified). No cubs in the top 30 for highest.
