There was an old poster here who would post game threads without fail.  He was of a different generation,  and would use the word horsefeathers in lieu of cursing.   After he passed away,  we began using that word in his memory,  so to speak.

That’s the reason for horsefeathers? That is really cool. 😄

By the way, welcome to the site! Some good folks on here. I like your optimism and positivity. I need more of that in my life lol. This team has me in a bit of a funk, but at the end of the day I freaking love them lol

I'm probably reading too much into this but the expression on Dansby's face as he rounded the bases seemed to be somber satisfaction.  Almost as if he was thinking that's nice but it might be too late.

I just checked the Dansby's HR, because the LA looked very steep.  xBA was .030.😁  I'll take that all day.

Now we're gonna get a whole special on Swanson on how hes changed his game/approach the rest of this game, like they did with Bregman 😅

This is the kind of game where you look at their season BA with RISP and wonder why it’s so high.  4-4 so far today with a sac fly after 3-39 stretch the last several games

I can probably turn this game off now since the Cubs have a comfortable lead.

I mean,  most games, they score early and call it in the rest of way 🤷

In the first 2 games of both of their series vs the Rockies the Cubs were 1-30 with RISP

In the final games of each series they are 8-11 with RISP

Everyone but Crow getting a hit 😅😅

Remember, earlier in the season?  Pete and Busch were bad, and everybody else was hitting.  That's how it goes, sometimes.😁
