It was a bad pitch.  I don't mind a single solo HR in 3 innings.  Just don't give up more.

How about 4 hits in an inning?

I get it, but the guy just isn’t good.

No, I didn't like that.  I thought they hit 3 hits in the inning, though.

They did - texted pissed off and hit four lol.

Just frustrating for all the fans right now.

Jump is looking like he’s gonna go 7-8 innings strong

CY candidate and all, but then again, Cubs make a lot of below average to average pitchers look like CY candidates

I hope when Cabrera and Boyd get back, the Cubs put Jamo on the DL. He must have whiplash from all the HR's he given up.

So, is this gonna be another game they finally get good pitching but nothing from the bats 🙄

Possibly.  The bats have been very quiet, since the 1st inning.

He pitched well tonight. They aren’t going to IL him.

It’s 8-9-1 and I’m usually team ‘get an extra inning if you can’ but…probably would have let Taillon feel good about his 6 innings and put in a better pitcher.

Theyll have to decide what to do with Taillon or Rea when Boyd returns next week,  I hope theyre not dumb enough to put Brown back into the bullpen.

I could see Rea back to the pen, he’s better than Taillon but not by much and he’s used to getting moved around. But I also wouldn’t be surprised to see them look for an opportunity to limit Browns innings in the pen at some point this year.

If the Chicago Cubs were a music group, they would sound like those two dudes.

That would suck.
