Wow Morez Johnson went early

The Mavs are not a serious organization.

Hell, I would have them take Stirtz, instead of this waste of a pick.  Guess it doesn’t matter who’s in Bulls FO, the stupidity remains.

I mean yeah, according to espn it's a reach, but a lot of other places had him in the 15-18 range, so I'm not sure it's that much of a reach. You've just got a lot of bust potential on this one.

And given the Bulls luck, we all know which way this one probably goes.

The positives. He's a good FT shooter and he's a good mid range shooter and slasher. He's a high effort guy who should play good defense and get some rebounds. The downside, between him and Caleb and the rest of the roster, they are in desperate need of a sharp shooter.

I just don't see where the shooting on this team is going to come from. Improved on defense,  on the boards and In the paint, but damn are they going to be bad behind the arc.

They are going to be a tough watch, again, and I'm still not seeing a real path to significant improvement.

what exactly did you expect tonight?

The Bulls drafted two players in the top 15 that can’t shoot

That's what the previous FO did with most of their picks.

the swain pick is questionable and they absolutely will need to find shooting going forward, but lumping the 2 picks together here doesn't really make sense to me

That’s the criticism I’ve seen on both picks. Wilson was the best player at #4, but both him and Matas play PF which seems like a problem.

I feel like everything that is being said about Swain was exactly what was being said about PWill at the time he was drafted

I kind of wanted Carr but have really liked the tape of Swain.  He plays with an edge and physicality, have seen some Jimmy Butler comps.  PWill just doesn't have that dog in him like I think Swain does.
