Yea but id rather put my RBI/Power guys in better position to drive in runs over getting 1 extra AB. On some teams it may not matter, like with the Dodgers and Yankees who have a bunch of middle of order type bats.

I dont mind Busch leading off, I just think Bregman should be 3 or 4, Happ should be 5th or 6th.

Maybe when Suzuki returns he goes into the 4 hole over Happ.

Busch Hoerner Bregman Suzuki PCA Happ would imo be much better

Yeah I mean, splitting hairs. Arguments against that are that I just want Bregman getting more opportunities than Hoerner, and then in that specific arrangement you’re a little easier to pitch to because you can put in a RHP for 2-3-4 and not worry about the three batter minimum.

It's hard to know how long the infield will keep up their plus-to-elite defense, but when you add in PCA and to a degree, Ian Happ, it's really fun right now with how good the team is defensively.

I like my chances with these guys against most RHers and not worry too much that theyll be coming up late in a game having to face a RH reliever, even if you split them up with a lefty, 2 of the 3 are facing a RHer...

Bold prediction: Miggy becomes a 4 win player this year

I wasn't that bold, but on the recent NSBB Pod my bold prediction on the year was that by the end of the season Amaya was the 1a to Kelly's 1b and would be the guy starting game 1 of a playoff series.

Which isn't even because I think Kelly is going to be bad (I've got 105 ish wRC+?). But I think Amaya is a guy.

Does the Marquee K Zone adjust for player height?

Based on the 1st K to James Wood, which was 2 inches over the box, but Wood walked away without even thinking about a challenge? James is a tall man. And then I saw the video replay and it looked right at the top of what I'd assume the zone is.

I'd say "no way".

The reason I wondered is because the left and right sides of the box are open which makes me wonder if they adjust up and down off of that

I believe it's open now because of ABS, they aren't allowed to show the box like it was last year.

Was just listening to your pod this morning (big fan of you guys btw). Totally agree he’s gonna take the top spot from Kelly. He’d have to start well over 100 games to achieve those 4 wins, which is extremely bold, but if he can stay healthy, I can see enough regression possible from Kelly to justify giving Amaya the lions share. His bat has looked great for a couple years now.

I'm also just a fan of his story. He's been through the absolute ringer injury wise, and he's kept trucking at the toughest position to play in the sport, and one of the toughest in all sports.
