I did not think Cohen would be this good

He was my (distant) second choice for Bears HC.

Having an undrafted player with 1 career catch, that came in the same game, make that catch, with that level of difficulty and magnitude, is one of the most improbable happenings in our history.

I still cant believe Walker caught that.

Man, this type of stuff doesn't happen to us......and against THIS team?

Bears are the ones who's QB gets knocked out of the game early.

Bears are the ones that just miss a sack and gives up the blown coverage TD.

Bears are the ones that grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

Bears are the ones who get burned by an UFA rookie' first TD catch.

But, man, isn't great the shoe is on the other foot?  About horsefeathers time.  I believe this signals the end of the Packers 30 year dominance in this rivalry, in a short time, the Bears will have the upper hand at QB and HC.

Neither did I. I mean the debate among voters will be interesting because all three deserve it.

Agreed, but with all of the national games the Bears have been playing in (could be 5 of the final 6) and their exciting finishes, Ben might have the upper hand.

I really do hope this signals at least a period of parity with the Packers. Let this finally be a rivalry and not a decades-long one-sided humiliation ritual.

I mean, I hate to say it, but out of these two games the Packers looked like the more talented team. They withstood catastrophic injuries and managed to stand tall and not just be competitive but have leads, control the football, and give our offense fits. We were inches away from losing this game at home while they were down their best offensive and defensive players. And yet, the Bears prevailed. And the Bears now have a near certain grasp of the division. And we’re the younger, hungrier team with the younger, hungrier coach and QB.

to be here, a year ahead of schedule. It feels good. I’m not even worried about sustainability. Sure crazy things can happen, look at Washington, but I feel very confident we have years and years and sustained success ahead of us.

Bears are 2-1 against GB in 2025

Best odds have them starting off 2026 with another game vs GB

Remember when we were wondering what Moores role would be? He has 6 TD catches on the season, two game winners

Moore is still a good wr. Man tge bears are stacked at that pod

Two good TEs, two good RBs, depth on the o line, and 4-5 WRs. Tons of depth and playmakers on offense. The DBs and LBs have depth too, but the d line is an issue. No team is perfect though.

I think it's a Ben Johnson offense thing. Moore is the X receiver. Ben's offense doesn't really design a bunch of plays for the X. Not a big outside the numbers offense. Middle of the field is the focus and those targets typically go to the slot WR, TEs or even the Z WR. St. Brown and Williams are the slot and Z WR in Detroit, and obviously they have (had) LaPorta.

Yep. BJ will face withering criticism for that.  Not sure he’s the kind of guy to let it affect him but he needs to be better than that.

just bouncing back through the thread, yea. I think he did better than that

If there is a talent disparity between Chi/GB, that gap should be closed this off-season.

Enjoy.

He's a huge Packer fan and podcaster, but gotta tip the cap to the guy for cutting together that short after what I'm sure was one of the more devastating losses in franchise history.

So Willis has a shoulder injury which could make their game against the Ravens interesting. Though McCarthy left the Vikings game and they play Detroit next week.  Hopefully the Lions just lose right now and take any doubt or better yet the Bears just win next weekend

Oh, I know who Tom is. I enjoy following him in spite of him being a Packer fan. Him as the Chicago Bear pope gets a chuckle from me.

Yeah, but ...

The Bears have a stud QB who is electric when off script and a genius play caller. 😁

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It was still a terrible call, and I’ll bet he doesn’t try something like that again.
