I can’t believe the Bears have won 9/10 and dominated the Eagles on the road even though we had 0 sacks and Caleb was not good. Great coaching and bullied the Eagles’ defensive line all game. But if we are going to beat the Niners, Lions, and Packers, Caleb has to play better.

Honestly thought the Illini and Bears would lose today.  Illini did not disappoint, think they'll get better.  The Bears, what a pleasant surprise, dominated the game and if Caleb could have a hit a few layups the final margin would have been larger.

Kyler and Jaylon additions are huge, but this is not sustainable against good teams if you can’t sack the QB

There’s no question the Bears are good.  That’s different from being great, or a contender or whatever. But that was the champs, in their building.  Bears absolutely manhandled them all game.  Doesn’t really matter that their offense is struggling.  Our air game struggled too.

Oh, I'm specifically speaking on the defense here. Offensively...  I don't think you can take any credit away from what they did today. You shouldn't be able to do this against any NFL Dline, and they did it against one of the best Dlines in football.
