Boy I sure am glad I don't jump into these threads till the game is over.  Everybody in here seemed miserable the entire time.  I know we're all trained to think it's all gonna go to horsefeathers any moment, but maybe it's time to change that mentality.

Better than the win against the Rams in 2018?

The Rams were 11-1, but Mitch threw for 110 yards and had 3 picks and 1 TD. Was a great win, but the offense sucked.

Most definitely time for a change, a legitimate head coach, heck, a legitimate coaching staff, an improving young QB. It's only a matter of time before Caleb really takes off.  There's good days ahead for the Bears.

time will tell, but with the way we are winning (any possible means driven by an unbelievable offense) coupled with a defense that has been playing inspired football that is just starting to get healthy? YES

WE are the playoff team to beat now, ladies and gentleman

The Rams are pretty good. If Caleb can reign in his inaccuracy, maybe.

Guess the Bears we're very creative in stopping the tush push.  Firstly, Hurts did not get the first down, secondly, Wright waited a bit to get a clear path to Hurts and the ball, allowing him to rip it out.  Have to give the coaching staff a lot of credit, think we'll see more teams trying to do the same on future tush pushes.

Nobody is more exciting in the NFL than the Bears

They are very exciting, I’m just not ready to anoint them as the best with average or below average QB play

This win also gives the Bears the best conference record in the NFC at 6-2. Eagles are now 7-3, and Rams are 4-2 (they've played 5 AFC games and 6 NFC games thus far).

They also now have the tiebreaker against the Eagles, should it come down to it.

Yep.  If Carolina somehow beats the Rams on Sunday, The Bears will have the #1 seed...for now.

And DVOA has been, pardon the pun, the most bearish on the team amongst the advanced metrics.  I wouldn't be surprised to see 80%+ playoff odds elsewhere.

Win two more games, with one of those coming against SF or Detroit, and I think itt's pretty much a lock?

Playing around with the playoff simulator earlier today it’s hard to find scenarios where the Bears miss the playoffs at 11-6, especially with the Lions loss yesterday.

What’s crazy is that final game against the Lions might mean nothing but seeding for the Bears. Could you even imagine that in the preseason?

Before this week, I was hoping the Bears would split with the state of Pennsylvania. Taking both games is more than satisfying. I also did not think the Bears would dominate the Eagles, but here we are.

Last year on Black Friday, Bears were firing Eberflus. This year, beating Philadelphia. Since the 0-2 start, the Bears are 9-1. What a difference a year makes.

Let's split with GB..
