Even if they did, Jerry wouldn’t care. The White Sox have never drawn well and he has done nothing to make them competitive year in and year out.

I know. I don't know when the Bulls will be relevant again.

The farthest (not including Covid) that the Bulls slipped in attendance rankings was 2002. Krause "resigned" in 2003.

To a point, I think Reinsdorf would actually care about a Bulls attendance dip if fans stopped showing. Definitely more so than with the Sox.  But they're perennial top 3 in attendance.

When the Reinsdorfs sell the team or they get incredibly lucky with a #1 pick like Rose. But they can’t even tank correctly to get that.

The only time the Bulls have ever been relevant was when they lucked into Rose against huge odds and Portland made the biggest draft error in NBA history. Without a crazy piece of luck, this franchise hasn't been and wont be relevant as long as Reinsdorf owns it.

The Bulls are uninteresting. And I wish fans would stop showing up at the United Center.

They absolutely are.  Even if they were good, they would still be uninteresting.  But they are currently uninteresting AND bad, which is the worst possible combination.  Yet they stay the course, year after year, and people inexplicably continue to go to the United Center to watch them.

Noa Essengue done for the year, Shoulder surgery.

Those championship dreams are over. Consider yourself lucky, Oklahoma City.😏

Must have got injured from that summer league epic rejection

I don't think this is Billy Donovan's fault, and everyone knows he isn't going anywhere after signing an extension prior to the season, but this is the type of stretch that would get most coaches fired.

AKME has been terrible but they likely would have to trade the entire roster to get Giannis.  I just don't see that happening.   I really hope he goes out west to the Spurs so there would be someone to challenge OKC out there.  Don't want the Knicks to get him.

Of course OKC could put together a great package quite easily.  As ridiculous as that would be, I would prefer that to him landing anywhere in the East.  It's probably stupid for me to look at this through the prism of how it would affect the Bulls but old habits die hard.

So apparently the Bulls are not interesting in breaking up the "young core" for Giannis. I can not believe I am going to say this but AKME is arguably worse than the previous regime.

As little credit as I give AKME this seems like a 'we're breaking up with you' type of message.  There's no way Giannis, who wants to leave Milwaukee because they're not a contender, is going to want to come to the Bulls in their current state and current reputation.  Furthermore, Chicago is one of the last places Milwaukee would want to trade him if they do trade him.  It's just not going to happen regardless, so AKME floats that out there as a way to publicly support his ****** core.

There is no core.

This. There has been zero progress on putting together a core in around a decade at this point.

Oh, I don’t even think it’s arguable. GarPax enjoyed some success in their tenure. They just hung around way longer than they should have. AKME has achieved absolutely nothing.

Nothing will be done. Nothing will change. It's a fool's errand getting even slightly emotionally invested in the perpetual dumpster fire that is the Bulls

A medicore roster and assets. A mediocre HC. A mediocre FO. A disinterested ownership. Can we finally admit the Bulls are one of the worst organization in sports?

I mean, record notwithstanding, the Bulls are one of the worst teams in basketball. I don't want to hear about injuries.

Billy is a good head coach compared to the rest of the Bulls organization. He won in college and OKC. But everything else is terrible. They have no plan.  I’ve never seen a fan base support a team so well that is so bad.
