Not watching so im not sure how legit they are but the defense is racking up some penalties on this drive

The roughing the passer was more a result of the Bear defender getting chopped down and diving for the QB as he was going down.

This is fun. Definitely a lot of issues but we got better this week and have the Raiders next week with a chance to get the season somewhat back on track.

They were legit nfl penalties.

Justin fields would not have gotten the roughing call though

Jarrett legitimately hit Prescott low, of course, Jarrett being taking down prior to hitting Prescott was not a penalty.

It wasn’t his “fault” but I’m not sure there was any way to call a penalty on the o line since the kick in the dick was unintentional

Bears win 31-14.

The WRs are good! Caleb had the 4th highest passer rating QB game in Bears history! The Bears got 3 turnovers!

The lines are still a problem, the RB room is still a problem, the back seven really misses their top 3 players (duh).

EDIT: Caleb Williams has proven he can take apart a Matt Eberflus defense.

The OL will continue to improve, you can see the improvement in PP.  Last season this same Cowboys defense would have generated consistent pressure and gotten to Caleb.   It's still a work in progress but, a big time offense is going to happen, too much talent for it not happen.  Just a matter of time.

The O line just has to cut down on the penalties and sacks. No sacks today, which is great. I'm not sure if the disastrous run game is more of the holes not opening up, or Swift just stutter-stepping his way to the hole closing before he can get there.

The D line got 2 sacks today and the Bears got 4 turnovers, but giving up 6 yards per play is generally not a great blueprint for defensive success.

I don’t know that eberflus beat BJ on more than a couple calls all game

Caleb played great but he left some yards out there

he cleans up even some of that and the offense should be high level all year long

I think Caleb will start to even some of that up, we got a good glimpse today.  It's there, just going to take a little time.

When was the last time the bears won a game by a 31-14 score?

Exactly 31-14, not sure.

They won back to back games last season 36-10 and 35-16 to get to 4-2 before the Commanders debacle and Eberflus being exposed for not knowing how to run a team.

The throws he was missing were mostly finding the seam in the middle of the zone, was putting about a foot too much on them and overthrowing the receiver while making sure he cleared the first layer of the defense.

It’s such a common score and I’m drawing a complete blank on this.

IF (and it's a really big IF) the Bears can turn things around... the third quarter will be the point in time it happened. Got a stop of the Cowboys coming out of the second half and then went on a nine-plus minute drive culminating in a touchdown pass.

Fingers crossed!

Yes, he's going to clear that up, it's not going to keep happening, he has the ability.  When Caleb plays on time he's lethal, we've seen glimpses of it, as the glimpses get longer he'll separate himself as better than Love or McCarthy and right there with Goff.
