Look, obviously I want the Cubs to win. A sweep would be so nice before the day off.

But, if there was ever going to be anyone that threw a perfect game against the Cubs (not named Sandy Koufax), it's kinda hard for me to pick someone other than Kyle Hendricks.

Love Kyle, would be totally cool with him showing out today, but this lineup is not a good matchup for him.  I'd say all of our lefties plus Seiya you feel good about connecting against a guy who throws soft stuff mostly low.

Maybe he can channel Max Scherzer or Andrew Abbott and have a bunch of screaming liners get hit directly at defenders for 5-6 innings, but I'd be surprised if he legitimately holds this lineup down.

Hendricks sinker has been worth -5 runs on the season and has a wOBA of .370 against it. Hendrick has been arguably worse against RHH with lower K%, and a wOBA against almost .100 points higher for RHH than LHH. Even if Shaw hasn't hit sinkers from RHP well, Hendricks sinker isn't a pitch the Cubs should be worried about.

Kyle Hendricks sinker is 86.5 MPH.  A league average changeup at this point is 85.8.

Seiya has been plain awful. He's had some slumps where he's smoking the ball but right at people, and then there's whatever this is. Tons of K's, completely lost at the plate
