If the 15/16/17 teams went into a slump like this, they would call some sort of a team meeting and get it together.  I've yet to hear any reports of this team having one of those "team meetings" where they yell at each other and figure it out.  They seem content being a wildcard team

Got back from the Brewers game.  They are great.  That is all.

Seriously though, it’s uncanny how they just get whatever they need in that moment.  I’m looking at the stats of these guys as they come to bat and it’s nothing special.  But collectively they just get it done.  I don’t think they hit a HR today?  12 runs.  Just getting guys on, moving them over, cashing in.  I know it’s the f’n Pirates but they are doing this to everyone.

Cade Horton is a pretty good pitcher it seems. If he can get a good splitter or changeup as an out pitch against lefties, he will be a true ace.
