All closers do this sometimes. We just rarely see it because:

1. The Cubs are winning most games

2. For the really good ones, its less frequent. 

Most of us live in an isolated Cub-only-bubble and don't realize that all of the things that we find uniquely plague us, are really just normal baseball occurrences all teams deal with throughout a 162 game season.

True, I've watched Mason Miller have such struggles on a couple of occasions this season.
