We had Boog and JD for like 5 or 6 straight games.

Given the upcoming road trip we might not see him for a while, maybe once or twice at most

Rae is long overdue to la

y a giant egg.

He's ok for a 5th starter and we're probably lucky he's had the run he's had thus far this season. That said, this is a terrible match up for him today.

Seiya says SEE ya!

Well they finally did it. They figured out what a "forfeit" broadcasting team looks like

Still better than Girardi or Sutcliffe

Why does it seem people are surprised when Boog isn’t in the  booth on Sunday? Hasn’t he done Sunday night baseball for years? How often did he do Sunday cubs games before this year?

6 earned runs in 15.2 innings, I wouldn’t say that. Paying an egg is getting pulled in the fourth tops with Seattle hanging 6+.

JD is sitting at home drinking Mai Tai’s, listening to this booth and knowing that his job is secure for the rest of this life if he wants it.

That's 19 runs in 20 innings for Seattle thus far this series. Another fastball right down the middle, about like batting practice. Need Shota back and a trade or two. Pitching is bottoming out, both the starters and bullpen.

Slow your roll, homeboy. It's been a couple of games. Remember when everyone panicked last week about the offense?

12 earned runs the prior 2 before those. Guess that is what I am remembering. However in the one against the Nationals, I believe that was the luckiest game of the year by a Cubs pitcher. I believe they smoked the ball the entire game and Rea got lucky. And in the other one of the last 3  he wasn’t very good.

Definitely need Shota back.  Though this game would make me super nervous for him if he started lol
