Cubs have been cycling through third baseman the last few years like the bears cycle through quarterbacks.

We'll always have Aramis and Bryant

It’s like the pre-Aramis days.

No. But the memories will last a lifetime.

Don't be sad that it's over, just be glad you got to experience it happen at all. Thanks, JH.

You know if the Rockies eat some money, then horsefeathers it, trade for Ryan McMahon and dump Brujan. Play matchups with him and Shaw the rest of the way.

Just don't know about this bullpen guys.  Pomeranz/Brasier/Flexen, etc....hope Jed can add an arm or two at the deadline. Need Hodge back. Adding Pearson give me no solace.

Brujan is just a complete waste.  I'm not even sure he'd be a good AAA player.

Just KILLS me they  gave up Cam Smith in the Tucker trade. I like Kyle but get the distinct feeling he won't sign here and will chase the mega money in LA or Boston. Hell, even Paredes is tearing it up this season. Shaw OK on D but I don't know about his bat. Doesn't seem like he has much pop.

Not a huge McMahon fan, however if he isn’t too costly I do think we can use him. Shaw is not looking like the answer right now.

He’ll test free agency and the cubs slashed $40 million of of last years payroll and sit at 13th. No excuses not to outbid LA or New York if they’re serious about winning. I’d be shocked if anyone throws $500 million+ at a 29 YO outfielder whose never posted a WAR over 6.

His last 150+ games his WAR is almost 8, so…. 🤷
