The Diamondbacks are the only team in MLB that have never had even one good looking uniform.

I kinda liked their first Sedona red uniforms (with the db snake logo on the sleeves), but these teal-accented monstrosities are disgusting.

Do we have to run the contact play literally every time?

I mean Nico is a big-time risk to put the ball on the ground. There's no good reason to run the contact play there IMO.

Definitely should not have it on with the IF in, PCA wouldn't be able to score on a ball hit at someone.

We basically won a game a few days ago because the padres didn’t run the contact play against a drawn in infield.

having said that, it does feel like it doesn’t work more than it works

having said that, that may just be because every time it doesn’t work like 11 people in here complain about it

What is it with that horsefeathers catcher and that shity ass SS?  Holy horsefeathers do the Cubs make below average hitters look great.

You might want to look at what Perdomo has done this year

Yes, they have to do the contactplay every time there is a guy in 3rd and one out. It is the play to use. Has they not run PCA flies out for the 3rd out anyway. I don’t understand why people have such a hard time with that play.

I looked up his statistics, larger samples suggests he's closer to a replacement level player than an above  replacement player.

Cause it rarely works with the IF playing in and instead of having a runner on 3B with multiple ways to score even with 2 outs, you have a runner on first and needing an XBH to score.

If the IF is back, I have no problem with running on contact

Well, Brujan can't hit worth a damn but at least he made an error at his earliest possible opportunity

Is Rea not stretched out enough to go more than 69 pitches?

I think it was more that he had ticked over to the 3rd time through the order and immediately gave up two line drives to put the lead in jeopardy

If it works 1/3 of the time that is better odds than keeping him at 3rd for the next guy to come up with 2 outs.

Tucker hasn't had a big hit in a minute

Just keeping his next contract at a manageable rate for the Ricketts.
