Theres still time and all, but today has that feeling of a "bummer game" where they just lose. Not where they blow a weird lead, but a normal, loss. Certainly they have the offense to get back in, but we haven't had many games like that so far.

This lineup absolutely can come back from a four run deficit, but needing this bullpen to throw four clean innings, plus needing to find four runs seems like a lost cause.

Imanaga k per 9 is under 6 . I was always expecting regression , but if this keeps up , it’s going to be a huge one .  Nate Pearson still sucks .

On the plus side, if we don’t come back this will be only our second loss since domestic opening day where our pen didn’t blow a 4+ run lead.

Hopefully.  We still won this series.  I’m more concerned about the Steele news but we will just have to wait and see.

Pearson just cannot consistently throw strikes with his fastball right now.  I honestly think that's his entire issue.  He really ought to go to Iowa IMO.  I wouldn't even be surprised if it's a straightforward mechanical issue and he's fixed in a few weeks.

Would have been great to sweep but, 4-2 is pretty damn good vs two quality teams.  3-3 on the upcoming road trip would be a miracle, with this bullpen, I’m not very hopeful.
