Kevin Warren was supposed to help stabilize the organization and we know Ben Johnson wants that. But look at how he has handled the new stadium. He’s completely muddied it up. Warren let Eberflus do his presser the day he was fired. Warren looks like an amateur. That can’t impress Ben Johnson.

I dont know too many guys who would have "good body language" when they're getting pummeled like this

That wasn't a criticism of him, just that he looks mentally and/or physically spent.

Yea, Ben Johnson ain’t coming here if there’s even remotely a better opening out there.  I mean, would you?

i feel like i'm losing my mind here: every new coach goes to a "bad" situation, or else the previous coach would still be coaching!

there are the rare exceptions of guys who retire in glory, like Bill Cowher retiring to Mike Tomlin, but its rare!

Aikman is right. Get Caleb out of this one before his confidence gets too damaged. Or his body gets hurt.

Welcome to being a QB for the Chicago Bears. Probably gonna request a trade in the offseason.

It really is baffling that all of the players hated Eberflus and they are significantly worse with him gone

They didn’t hate him, they were unimpressed with his dorkiness. He couldn’t lead. He didn’t piss everybody off

Ha, Aikman thinks Poles did a good job in putting together this team. Poles has basically neglected the lines of scrimmage and the ones he brought in mostly stink.

No, they hated him and his late-game decision making.

Airman had like a billion concussions.

I'm just frustrated. With everything. Coaches, players, referees, front office... you name it.

Actually... I feel real sorry for the players. They have to put their bodies and reputations on the line for the horrendous coaching and game-planning day in and day out. They're being put in impossible positions by people (coaches and front office) who are... by all metrics... being totally outclassed despite being at a talent level on par with (the offensive line notwithstanding) the vast majority of their opponents.

I've been drinking. Hope this made sense.

TLDR; It sucks. It all sucks.

Their performance pre and post firing suggests otherwise. They played hard for Eberflus. They’ve quit since he was fired.

They quit on Eberflus, but they forgot to un-quit when he left.

They should have fired Eberflus when the season was cratering and it was clear that Eberflus wasn’t it. But they waited so long the players eventually decided to take action. Now the inmates are running the asylum and the season is over so Thomas Brown never had a chance
