They're playing really well right now.....and still 7 games under .500. Just shows what a dumpster fire they were earlier in the year

It’s a huge indictment on the Bulls’ leadership that once they gave up on AK’s plan they started playing a lot better. I give Billy Donovan a lot of credit also.

I absolutely love that it was Lebron James who didn't cover PWill in the corner for the first 3, then handed the ball directly to Giddey on the inbounds pass, then wasn't close enough to block the shot by Giddey from half court.

GOAT? Not in this lifetime.

LeBron did have a tip-in game winner the night before but also made the bad pass that Giddey stole right after not guarding Williams. Back-to-backs at age 40 isn’t easy.

Clearly the team is very entertaining, and if they can somehow get ahead of Orlando for the 8 seed I think they make the playoffs.  I have long been critical of the Bulls embracing mediocrity and still am, but at least this improvement is largely coming from young players and not Lavine and DeRozan pushing the team to near .500.  They're nowhere close to being a contender, don't have many avenues for getting the pieces needed to be a contender, and this streak has extinguished almost all hope they can get Flagg or one of the other highly touted top 5 prospects.

But horsefeathers at some point you have to allow yourself to enjoy sports and temporarily not let the long term outlook weigh you down.  What this Bulls team is suddenly doing is legitimately fun, and we should treat it as such, while still acknowledging AKME kind of sucks and JR is a horrible cheapskate owner making the franchise one of the worst in sports.

I watched the video last night of the Bulls hitting the 3 pointer, getting the steal, and hitting the second 3 pointer to take the lead.  I thought that was the entire sequence and I thought "yeah, that's a pretty crazy comeback in the last few seconds."

Just now I found out that I needed to keep watching to see the rest of the craziness, and that I had missed the half-court buzzer beater for the win.  That was incredible.

That's how I pieced it together too.  Thought the two 3's was the crazy ending everyone was talking about until I refreshed my feed lol

Fun game for the moment, yes. But it still leaves the future a mess....Giddy is not a long term answer..

I mean, what more would you like him to do? He's putting up all star level lines. Over his last 10 games he's .3 rebounds short of averaging a triple double and he's done it on 57.3 FG%.  Frankly I think they're one good center from being solidly in the playoffs year to year. not a championship contender but solidly in the playoffs.

His career shows he's not that though.

Giddy is 22 years old, so his career stats to this point may not be an accurate representation of the player he will be through his mid 20's.

Do I think the Bulls are ultimately going to overpay for him and get burned though?  Yes, absolutely.

Yes, getting burned I guess is classic Bulls post 2000

how do you have patrick williams in your org everyday for several years and decide to hand him a contract extension and still give him serious minutes this deep into a season during important nba games after the way he has played this year
