Beth Mowins tries to do a national broadcast approach that’s just annoying af to listen to. You’re on Marquee. When the other team is up to bat we shouldn’t have to listen to the “Guardian hitter has a chance to score the run from second,”

I’m not saying the broadcaster needs to be an out right homer, but at least stop rubbing salt in the wounds.

I just saw the Cubs have a positive run differential on the season, which I find almost astonishing. Well, not that astonishing because they've made a point of losing in heartbreaking fashion as much as possible, which generally means losing close games. 

Except, possibly, today. Outside chance of making that R/D negative on the season if they try hard enough.

But, of course, Bellinger smokes that ball right at someone.  Teams like the Brewers and these Guardians with their largely smoke and mirrors pitching staffs annoy the horsefeathers out of me.  The Brewers are NL equivalent of that fraud of 13-3 Packers' team from a few years ago,  the Guardians are the AL equivalent .

Both JD and Beth absolutely know that Cleveland took over from the Cubs with the longest streak without winning a World Series after 2016 but they still act like they don’t know that for sure. 😂

Non tender casualty following the biblical financial losses. Cubs couldn't afford his 8mil deal but then signed freaking Joc pederson for the same 8 mil

I looked at their career fWAR. Schwarber is about 0.8 short of Pederson in one fewer season. This year Schwarber is a 3.0 vs. Joc's 2.6. They're, roughly, even but I don't feel the same about them.
