Even when PCA is making outs, he is having much better at bats.  A very promising development.  Maybe this is just the new normal, where most rookie hitters will be expected to have an extended period of poor production while they (hopefully) adjust to Major League pitching.

I kinda wish we traded Steele for a Darvish return of an abundance of A & A+ league prospects, one of which might surface in mlb 5 years down the road, plus a crappy old vet

New normal? I’d I had to guess most young hitters have an extended period of adjustment when they first come up. Maybe most aren’t quite as long or as bad but I don’t think PCA’s curve is all that unusual.

I just love watching PCA play. Speed guys are so much fun. Even “routine” ground balls aren’t sure outs with guys like him.
