Coby got traded to Charlotte for Collin Sexton.  They're both UFA so I don't get it.

I was on board with the Huerter and Vuc trades but this one doesn't make sense to me.

Hey, they got Ousmane Dieng and 3 useless 2nd round picks too!

It's a lot, and I don't love it from the Pacers side.

But it's a modern NBA type of trade.  The Pacers did it because Zubac's contract is really good compared to his production for the next couple of years.  So they can make a run at the title the next two years with a great starting lineup.  I understand it even though it's a little more than I would have given up.

Not quite the malice in the palace but there was a significant brawl in the Hornets game.

In other news, Mark Cuban is trying to buy back the Mavericks. Never should have sold the team but him getting the team back is preferable than the current idiots who own the franchise.

Down goes Kobe. 83 for Bam on horrific shooting for a C.

Didn't think anyone was going to top Kobe and certainly didn't think it would be Bam.

But I guess setting the record for most FT attempts in a game will help you do that. Since the 83-84 season, the record was 39 by Dwight Howard twice and there were only 7 instances of a guy shooting 30+ FTs in a game.

I’m friends with the mom of the Nets’ Jalen Wilson and he is indeed biracial. Lol. As you may guess, he was named after Jalen Rose.

A lot of people dont really buy the legitimacy of Wilt's record though FWIW.

Kobe's 81 was mind blowing, sort of thought to be impossible in the modern day.

A lot of people think the earth is flat.  Doesn't make it a valid option.

Well thats great but I specifically referred to the reaction when Kobe broke 80

There was a stretch from ‘94 - ‘17 where he was the only player to cross 70. So against that backdrop, obviously it’s super impressive.

But Amick’s weird deification of Kobe and his hold on the 2nd highest scoring game of all time is super weird. Good for Bam for etching his name into the record books.
