It’s going to be Mastrobouni or Madrigal the entire time Swanson is out. Might as well get used to it. Supposedly Mastrobouni handles high fastballs. Can’t prove it by me or his results this year, but  that is what the reasoning for him being in the line up today.

I believe it effectively is an 8 man lineup with Mastrobuoni in the sense that he's an automatic out and the Pirates do not have to be concerned with him.

Cuas has been much better than either at Iowa, seems like he found the feel for the sweeper and is striking out nearly half of the batters he faces.

Yep. Cuas deserves another chance. He was overall decent/good last year, just clearly lost the feel for the sweeper. If he can keep that walk rate around a reasonable 10%, he has value. 
 

Though I have been asking for Porter to get the call for awhile now.
