LET'S horsefeathers GO!

<Looks at watch>

Where?

I've told this story before, but in 1997 I was living in NYC and going to grad school. They use to do the draft on a Saturday and Sunday at MSG. The night before the draft me and friend were at the ESPN zone and hung out with Orlando Pace and a few of his friends. It was quite something. He already knew he was going 1 overall. The next morning we went to the draft and it was insane. In between live sets the commentators for ESPN would interact with the crowd and joke around. There were a bunch of Philly fans and they basically booed and catcalled every pick. It was so much fun. I doubt things are as laid back now.

If they stay at #9, this is my want list with people who have a remotely realistic chance of being there at 9

1) Nabers

2) Alt

3) Odunze

4) Turner

5) Latu

6) Fashanu

Basically anyone else I'd be upset they didn't trade back.

I’m going to be so pissed when the Jets pass on Penix for like the 4th OT or WR. The shortlist should be like Odunze or Penix, and there’s no serious shot at Odunze anyway

There is if the Bears don't draft him. I hope we take Odunze, but there are a number of directions Poles can go here, and I'm not sure any of them would be the wrong choice.

reading up on the draft a lot for the Lions there seemed like such a small list of guys (something about "knee-biters") that they'd deign to select at their pick, so filtering out all the supposed bad culture fits i'm hoping for this board for them at 29:

  1. Cooper Dejean (unlikely to fall there)
  2. Kool-Aid
  3. Chop Robinson
  4. Legette
  5. trade down

I have them taking Adonai Mitchell on my board.

i had seen a few sources worry about his inconsistent effort and assumed Campbell & Holmes would discount him on that basis

I'm sure it is because it's what I want the plan to be but I'd buy that's the Bears plan (let's add the slim chance Alt gets to 9 as a stay scenario pretty please?)

I'm hoping for 4 QBs in 1st 8 picks. 5 would be ideal. Then, I'd consider going to 12/14.

I think Washington just made a huge mistake here. Maye is the better prospect.

Daniels will be fun to watch for six games before he breaks in half.
