I know the whole Summer remains and the Cubs have a pretty good chance to be a a playoff team.  But, damn, I wish we could fast forward to the Fall, there's an excellent chance the Bears, for the first time in a long time, may have a real NFL offense, it's like a Haley' Comet sighting.  Can't wait...

Can we at least wait until we've had back to back days of nice weather before fast forwarding to the Fall?

Though not specifically Bears related, it would be a damn shame if some special teams player decided they didn't care about the 15 yard penalty and just laid Harrison Butker's ass out.

Schedule release day. Here is what is rumored so far:

Week 6 vs JAX in London

Week 13 at Detroit on Thanksgiving

Week 16 vs Detroit

Week 18 Green Bay (not sure home or away)

Bears will not play primetime Week 1 as Most likely Rams vs Lions SNF

With all these schedule leaks going around for other teams, it seems the Bears will either open at home vs the Titans or on the road against someone other than GB . All their home opponents are spoken for except the Titans.

Edit: The below is completely based on the link Brian included above this post.  If that information is inaccurate then disregard because I'm seeing people report Bears/Vikings on MNF Week 15 even though that link is saying Raiders/Falcons is MNF

 

I realize there might be primetime games where the game is leaked but the fact that it is primetime has not been leaked, but these are the Bears "special" games so far

Week 2 at Houston (SNF)

Week 6 vs Jacksonville (London)

Week 13 at Detroit (Thanksgiving)

Week 17 vs Seattle (TNF)

 

The weeks that there aren't leaked Bears games are Week 7, 8, 9 and 14.  Week 7 is likely a bye so looking at 8, 9 and 14

Week 8: All primetime games leaked

Week 9: SNF and TNF are leaked, but MNF is not

Week 14: TNF is leaked, SNF and MNF are not

 

You'd think the Bears would get more than 2 primetime games (unless NFL is counting London and Thanksgiving as primetime but to me they're not really) and you'd think they would have at least 1 game on MNF so I'm guessing that Week 9 or 14 is a MNF game, possibly at San Francisco or Washington (only other non leaked game is at Arizona).

Possibilities for SNF based on no leaked game yet:

Week 3: Bears at Colts

Week 4: Rams at Bears

Week 5: Panthers at Bears

Week 14: Bears Unannounced

Week 16: Lions at Bears

 

Possibilities for MNF based on no leaked game yet:

Week 1 (second game): Titans at Bears

Week 3: Bears at Colts

Week 9: Bears unannounced

Week 12: Vikings at Bears

Week 14: Bears unannounced

Week 16: Lions at Bears

I am seeing week 4 as the week with 2 MNF games. Of course those are rumors. Last year I think it was week 2.

 

Also back to back to back home games week 10-12 and technically week 4-6.  Only two Dec-Jan games is awesome as a season ticket holder when the team sucks, but this team should be decent to good.

So we get Stroud, Young, Daniels, Richardson, possibly Maye. Besides our divisional games those are the ones that interest me the most right now. I want to see Caleb outplay these guys. Is McCarthy gonna start right away?
