Really not impressed with Penix's accuracy, seen several throws that just weren't NFL caliber.

From a strictly passing stand point, he throws the ball a lot like Vick. Line drives if you're 10 yards away or 25. It's a laser coming out almost all the time.

I don't mind the elusive hero ball.  But he keeps trying to shrug off sacks instead of dodging them. He's not big enough to pull that off.

no reason to fan scout him if your mind is made up about whether this is a bad thing

plenty of guys in the draft who are more prototypical and will play within structure

One thing Williams does seem to have is much better feel for the pocket than Fields does.

Sweat contract is going to look good here once Burns, Parsons, Garrett, etc. get their deals in the offseason. He’ll end up more at 8-10 range instead of top 5 for AAV which is where he should be.

Ok, Williams is starting to convince me. He tries to do way too much sometimes, but he has vastly better awareness of pressure than Fields does.

Call me crazy But McCarthy has the makings of a strong pro QB. Maybe not a deep ball threat, but he makes really good decisions.

I think he's raised his stock this season and I don't hate what I see.  Tight spiral and quick decisions.. has probably played himself into the first round?

I don't think he's going as high as we are expected to pick and will be gone before our secondary picks

I like the decision to throw. I thought the throw could have been better, but there's always something to be said about giving your guys a chance, especally in one-on-one mismatches.
